Erik Pols has built an impressive career spanning over a decade. Erik is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of vellum.ink, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to that, Erik served as the Chief Marketing Officer at TOPdesk from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they led a team responsible for translating the global strategy of TOPdesk into product and marketing strategies. Erik also transformed the communications department into agile and result-driven marketing teams. Throughout their tenure, they managed stakeholder relationships in 12 countries and 8 business units, and oversaw a budget of over 4 million. Before joining TOPdesk, Erik held various roles at the company, including Product Manager and Marketing Coordinator.

Additionally, Erik has co-founded two companies. In 2017, they co-founded Embassy Software, and in 2008, they co-founded Syfer. Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Erik worked as a Graduate Researcher at Philips Medical Systems from January 2008 to October 2008.

Erik Pols obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, where they attended from 2001 to 2008. Erik later pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from TIAS School for Business and Society, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, in November 2009, Erik Pols obtained a Prince2 Foundation certification.
