Martin Hoogslag is an experienced professional with a focus on safety within swimming environments and rescue operations across Europe. Currently serving as the Chair of the Rescue Commission at the International Lifesaving Federation of Europe, Martin Hoogslag leads initiatives to standardize rescue signs and equipment, collaborating on the development of a Beach Safety Signal System. In addition to this role, Martin Hoogslag has been advising safety at swimming locations for Stichting NIVZ since 2005, contributing as a Senior Tutor in Risk Assessment and a Risk Assessor. Martin Hoogslag also operates as a Lifeguard for Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden and holds various positions in web design and coordination roles in different organizations.
