Shelby Fry, MSW, currently serves as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist at Journey Mental Health Center, where responsibilities include fostering staff engagement with DEI initiatives, delivering training, and supporting DEI groups. Previous experience includes roles as a DEI Intern at the same organization, where Shelby collaborated on bias and discrimination policies and facilitated identity-based affinity groups. Additionally, Shelby has held operations roles at Cloud Haven and Vehicle Hub, and provided civil rights oversight for CELEBRATE FOREVER FAMILIES. Previous positions also encompass field representative work for the Progressive Turnout Project and client intake coordination at Caravel Autism Health, where Shelby managed a significant restructuring effort. Shelby holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, along with study abroad experience at Queen Mary University of London.
