Jake Galvin is an accomplished professional in the field of community and developer relations, currently serving at Vega Protocol since December 2021. As Co-President of the Leeds University Union Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Society since May 2020, Jake has demonstrated leadership in the blockchain domain. Jake co-founded Champions of Blockchain, the largest student-led blockchain conference in the UK, which attracted attendees from 66 countries. Previous experience includes roles as a bartender at BrewDog and an intern at Sequence, where responsibilities encompassed writing articles and creating Twitter bots. Education includes a Computer Science degree with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Leeds, complemented by a strong foundation in computer science, maths, and design from earlier academic institutions.
