Bentley Drake is a highly experienced engineering leader with a robust background in the technology sector, spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Veeva Systems since 2011, Bentley manages the Workflow, Audit, and Expressions development teams for the Vault platform, which supports the global life sciences industry. Bentley's previous roles include Vice President of Engineering at Syndero, where Bentley led the development of a marketing platform, and Senior Technical Architect at Neustar, Inc., overseeing the architectural transition to a next-generation service execution architecture. With a strong foundation in software architecture and team leadership, Bentley also held positions as Director of Engineering at NightFire Software and Software Architect at several other firms. Bentley holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and two Bachelor’s Degrees—one in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University-Sacramento and another in Human Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
