Yong Rhee

Yong Rhee has a long and varied work experience, beginning with their role as a Sergeant at Korea Military Academy in 2003. In 2006, they became a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they conducted user-centered research and designed and tested embedded anti-phishing tutorial prototypes. In 2013, they joined Yammer, Inc. as a Product Designer, where they led and defined interaction designs for various projects and features across web, desktop and mobile platforms. In 2014, they became Lead Product Manager and Product Design Manager at Lovely Inc., and in 2016, they co-founded and became CEO of Gormey. From 2017 to 2020, they were Co-founder and CEO of Veeh, a B2B marketplace with $X00,000+ annual transactions. During their time there, they led a team of engineers, sales and operations, launched a two-sided marketplace, acquired and established new revenue channels, and grew the company's revenue on average 22% month-over-month for over two years. In 2020, they joined Robinhood as Manager and Product Manager.

Yong Rhee has a Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design & Human Computer Interaction from the same university.
