Vaibhav Kamra is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Veeam Software since September 2024. Prior to this role, Vaibhav was the CTO and Co-Founder of Alcion from March 2022 until its acquisition by Veeam, as well as the CTO of Kasten by Veeam from October 2020 to March 2022, following Kasten's acquisition by Veeam in October 2020, where Vaibhav was also a Co-Founder. Earlier in the career, Vaibhav held the position of Director of Software Engineering at EMC, leading engineering teams for the Maginatics distributed filesystem, which was developed to power cloud products. Vaibhav was a founding team member at Maginatics, serving as Engineering Director and Technical Lead. Additional experience includes time at Microsoft, where Vaibhav was the Lead Developer and Architect for SQL Server's FileTable and contributed to various projects within the Core File Services team. Vaibhav holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Computer Science and an MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
