Steve Nutbeen began their career in 1998 as a Support/QA Consultant at Oracle Corporation, where they worked in a small global team supporting and testing the Foundation's educational websites. Steve provided 1st line support via email, forums and telephone, for a 100,000+ user base, in context of limited cover and extensive autonomy. Steve also ensured all initial queries were responded to within set SLAs. In addition, they worked in a small inter-dependent team supplying software patches to customers and helped maintain system integrity via regular system maintenance, including file updating and backup. In 2011, they joined Vee24 as a Technical Support and Testing Engineer.
Steve Nutbeen attended the University of East Anglia from 1988 to 1991.
