Jason W. Reese is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office at Vedder Price since August 2014, where Jason is also a Shareholder and a member of the Finance & Transactions group. Prior to this, Jason held the position of Corporate Attorney at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP from January 2013 to July 2014 and served as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at CODA Automotive, Inc. from March 2010 to January 2013, overseeing legal and corporate development functions in a start-up environment focused on electric vehicles. Earlier in their career, Jason worked as Sr. Director of Corporate Development & Assistant General Counsel and as a Corporate Associate at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP from March 2002 to February 2010. Jason holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
