Shane Narainsamy is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Alliance Group Limited since October 2022, overseeing plant operations in Pukeuri, Oamaru, New Zealand. Prior to this role, Shane held multiple positions at Transnet Port Terminals, including Chief Engineer and Senior Project Manager, responsible for equipment maintenance and capital project execution at various port terminals in South Africa. Shane also operated as a self-employed Construction Project Manager, successfully overseeing two luxury residential projects from inception to completion. Earlier career experience includes managing aluminium casting production lines at BHP and leading multidisciplinary capital projects within the aluminium smelter environment. Shane holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
