Hasitha Fonseka is a seasoned engineer with a robust background in power distribution and asset management. Currently serving as a Network Standards Engineer at Vector Limited since January 2022, Hasitha is responsible for ensuring the acceptance of new connections to the network while adhering to safety and industry standards. Previous experience includes roles as an Asset Maintenance Engineer and Asset Planner, where Hasitha focused on network maintenance standards and infrastructure asset management, respectively. Hasitha's career began at Ceylon Electricity Board, progressing through several engineering and project management positions, including significant tenures at Transpower New Zealand Ltd. and Northpower. Academically, Hasitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computing from Unitec.
