Ian Conners is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at VECTOR CONTROLS, INC. since June 2023, where responsibilities include creating assembly drawings and designing a 3-axis joystick for naval applications. Prior experience includes roles at Boston University as a Teaching Assistant and laboratory assistant, where Ian analyzed engineering drawings and advised students on manufacturing processes. An internship at HDM Hydraulics involved leading the development of an electrochemical deburring system and creating Python scripts for optimized electrode placement. Ian's earlier position as a CNC Machine Operator involved operating various milling centers and performing preventative maintenance. Ian earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and participated in the Gifted Math Program at the University at Buffalo.
