Akshay Oka is a Mechatronics Design Engineer at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since July 2020, previously serving as a Vehicle Control Engineer at Brunel and DAF Trucks NV. Expertise includes systems engineering for vehicle and infotainment functions, concentrating on prototyping and modeling. Prior experience encompasses system requirements engineering for Magneti Marelli in the automotive domain and the development of hydraulic systems during a Master's thesis at John Deere, utilizing tools such as Matlab and SysML. Additional experience includes an internship at FleXstructures GmbH focusing on cable design and validation, and a graduate engineer role at Force Motors Ltd in research and development. Akshay holds a Master's degree in Commercial Vehicle Technology from TU Kaiserslautern and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
