Joy L. Jones, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief Program Officer of the Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award Program at VCU Massey Cancer Center since July 2022. Additionally, Joy holds the position of Chief Member at the organization as of April 2023. Prior to this role, Joy was with National Medical Fellowships, Inc. from January 2012 to September 2022, where responsibilities included Chief Program Officer, Director of Programs, and Director of the GE-NMF Primary Care Leadership Program. Joy earned a PhD in International Development from Tulane University Law School, a Master of Science in International Development from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Public Policy from George Washington University.
