Dr. Marcelle Davis serves as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at VCU Health, leading comprehensive DEI initiatives and strategies since November 2020. Responsibilities include authoring VCUHS's inaugural DEI Annual Report, co-authoring the Healing Not Hate campaign, and facilitating DEI education for employees. Dr. Davis’s prior experience includes roles as a Diversity & Inclusion Leader at Booz Allen Hamilton, Graduate Professor at the University of the Cumberlands, and Program Manager for Diversity & Inclusion at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Dr. Davis holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership, an MBA with a focus on Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology, complemented by a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
