Ian Slack is an experienced environmental resource biologist currently serving as a project coordinator at VCS Environmental since June 2023. Prior to this role, Ian completed an internship at Hobbs Lab from April 2021 to June 2023 and held various positions during academic pursuits at the University of California, Davis, including laboratory technician at UC Davis Anthropology and internships at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc., and Hookit. Ian earned a Master's degree in Ecosystem Science and Management from the University of Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability in June 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/Archaeology/History from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2021.
