Yael Essel has a diverse work experience in the field of product management. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at vcita since February 2021. Before that, they served as a Product Management Mentor at Product League, where they mentored product managers and guided HackAUTISM competition teams in designing software products for people with Autism.

Yael also held the position of Inbound Product Manager at NICE Ltd from May 2016 to August 2018, where they led a B2B SaaS quote-to-delivery application integrated with CRM & ERP. This role earned their the NICE IMPACT AWARD. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at The Center for Educational Technology (CET) from May 2014 to December 2015, overseeing the development and launch of an innovative mobile application for students with special needs and their teachers.

From August 2004 to May 2014, Yael served as a Senior Product Manager and Group Lead at NICE Actimize. In this role, they managed a portfolio of products focused on detecting and investigating risky financial activities using AI technology. These products were deployed in over 250 leading financial organizations worldwide.

Yael's early career includes a role as a Product Manager at ESI Expert Systems Industries Ltd, where they managed the development and delivery of a natural-language algorithmic billing verification product. Yael was responsible for market analysis, ROI evaluation, and marketing support during the go-to-market phase.

Yael Essel obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Information Technology from Tel Aviv University. They also earned an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Yael has obtained several certifications, including "UX Design for Beginners - Learn User Behavior & Psychology" from Udemy, "Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 1 Cloud Concepts (2019)" from LinkedIn, "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning" from LinkedIn, and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn.
