Philipp Degenhardt is an accomplished engineering and technology leader with extensive experience in the energy sector, primarily at Vattenfall since October 2012. Currently serving as the Engineering & Technology Lead in the Batteries Department, Philipp is responsible for preparing the technical framework to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of battery projects. Previous roles include Head of Physical Integration, Head of Verification & Integration, and various management positions related to certification and interface management. Prior to Vattenfall, Philipp worked at PowerWind GmbH as a Research Coordinator and served as a Development Engineer at ISFH, specializing in the testing of solar thermal collectors. Philipp holds an MBA from NORDAKADEMIE Graduate School, a Master's in Engineering in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, and has further experience as a Visiting Researcher at Dalarna University.
