Magnus Alvagard, a seasoned finance professional, currently serves as the Head of Group Financial Systems at Vattenfall since November 2012. Prior to this role, Magnus held positions including Senior Consultant, Business Analytics at IBM and Management Consultant at Capacent Sweden. Magnus started a career at IBM as a Senior Consultant for Cognos Controller, following a tenure at Cognos in the same capacity. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Group Accounting/Financial Controller at Snickers Workwear. Magnus possesses a Master's degree in Economics with a focus on Finance and Accounting from both Stockholm University and the University of Gävle, supplemented by language training in German from the Alpha Sprach Institute.
