Farshad Samie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales management and business development across multiple industries, including heavy transport, automation, healthcare, and chemicals. Currently serving as Sales Manager for Heavy Transport at Vattenfall since October 2023, Farshad oversees Power-as-a-Service contracts within the Network Solutions business unit. Prior to this role, Farshad was a Regional Sales Manager at Binar Handling AB and a Business Development Executive at Scania Group, specializing in innovative solutions such as autonomous vehicles and electrification. Farshad's career also includes significant roles at GE Healthcare, Agilent Technologies, and AkzoNobel, showcasing expertise in channel partner development, sales of analytical instruments, and project leadership in R&D. Farshad holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Umeå University, along with further education in Wood Science from Chalmers University of Technology and studies at Uppsala University.
