Andreas Persson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Performance and Integration at Vattenfall since April 2010. In this role, Andreas oversees corporate performance and strategic direction for the Business Area Generation, which encompasses hydro and nuclear power operations. Prior to this, Andreas held positions as a Technical Advisor in Nuclear Technology and Lead Engineer, both emphasizing governance and development of nuclear competencies. Experience also includes work as a Consultant and Civil Engineer at Vattenfall Power Consultant, where Andreas contributed to economic and technical evaluations for new production capacities. Academic experience includes serving as an instructor in computer programming at Chalmers University of Technology and developing a simulation program for Ringhals AB. Andreas holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.
