Michael Fedell is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps, cloud solutions architecture, and software engineering. Currently serving as Manager of DevOps and Platform Engineering at VAST, Michael focuses on optimizing software development processes for the world's first commercial space station. Previous roles include Cloud Solutions Architect at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where Michael designed cloud architectures for complex data processing, and Platform Engineer/Cloud Architect at Consilient, where solutions for federated machine learning models were developed. With a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree in Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Michael has also contributed as an Adjunct Instructor at Northwestern University and has held various internships that showcase a diverse skill set in data analytics, software development, and process engineering.
