Oded Sonin is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Since February 2018, Oded has been part of VAST Data, contributing to software development. Prior to this, Oded worked at Primary Data Inc from May 2014 to February 2018, and at IBM from October 2010 to November 2013, where the role included Software Development Team Leader for the System and Technology Group, overseeing the ProtecTIER deduplication system and leading engineering efforts for bandwidth-reduced data replication in clustered environments. Earlier experience includes a Software Developer position at Diligent Technologies, an IBM company, focusing on similar deduplication technologies, and hardware verification at Freescale Semiconductor. Oded holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, obtained in 2007.
