Charmaine Yu is currently working as an Opinion Editor and Staff Columnist at Varsity Publications Inc., where Charmaine provides commentary pieces for the tri-campus newspaper. Charmaine is also a Research Fellow at the University of Toronto, focusing on Professor Ira Wells' Margaret Atwood project. In the past, Charmaine has held editorial roles at The Strand and The Trinity Review, managing content and overseeing publication processes. Charmaine has also worked as a Research Study Assistant at the University of Toronto and as an Independent Creative Writer at The Writers' Union of Canada. Charmaine's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from the University of Toronto.
