Richard Carter is an experienced educator and coach, currently serving as a Lecturer in Public Services and Travel/Tourism at Varndean College since September 2012, where responsibilities include teaching vocational subjects and acting as a Personal Tutor. Additionally, Richard Carter is the founder and coach at Withdean Athletics Academy, also established in September 2012. Prior experience includes lecturing at City College Brighton and Hove from November 2004 to February 2012, and operating a popular newsagents in Hove from March 2001 to March 2004. Richard Carter also held roles at JD Sports Fashion plc from July 1998 to March 2001, progressing to Area Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Leisure Facilities Management, followed by a PostGraduate Certificate of Education from Loughborough University.
