Philip Dyas is an accomplished educator and screenwriter with extensive experience in creative media and film studies. Currently serving as the Head of Creative Media at Varndean College since September 2022, Philip Dyas focuses on enhancing academic outcomes while providing valuable industry experience to aspiring creatives. Philip Dyas has also worked as a screenwriter since 2008, collaborating with various filmmakers to develop original narratives and project concepts. Previous roles include teaching positions at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy and Steyning Grammar School, where Philip Dyas implemented innovative curricula. Philip Dyas has held leadership roles in media education and contributed as a freelance critic and writer for various publications. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Master of Arts in Film Studies.
