Moises Serrano, PhD, DABMGG, currently serves as the Laboratory Director at Variantyx since October 2024. Previously, Moises held the position of Laboratory Director at Bionano from November 2020 to October 2024, including a role as Lab Director at Lineagen, a part of Bionano Genomics, from July 2015 to March 2023. Moises began a clinical cytogenetics fellowship at ARUP Laboratories, University of Utah, which lasted from July 2013 to June 2015. Educationally, Moises earned a Clinical Cytogenetics Post-doctoral Fellowship in Genetics from the University of Utah and holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from East Tennessee State University, where a BS in Physics was also obtained.
