Touseef Kariyania is a Cybersecurity Architect at Varian since April 2022, responsible for reviewing platform architecture security and performing threat modeling on new features. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Consultant, Application Security Consultant, and IT Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services from January 2016 to March 2022, where Touseef focused on the SHIFT-LEFT method for application security and threat modeling. Touseef began a career at IGATE, working as a Sr. Software Engineer from August 2010 to December 2015 on projects including the Progresso Learning education portal and collaborating with Hitachi R&D. Earlier experience includes roles at Patni Computer System as a Trainee, during which a tool was developed to convert Windows Form Applications to WPF. Touseef holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University.
