Thomas Skaar Pettersen is a seasoned subsea engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Subsea Engineer at VÃ¥r Energi since January 2022, Thomas has previously held roles including Senior Subsea Completion Engineer at Lundin Norway AS, where responsibilities included planning and preparing the plug and abandonment (P&A) of the Brynhild subsea field. Prior experience at Statoil involved acting as a Senior Subsea Engineer, contributing to rig team planning for P&A, completions, and maintenance. Thomas began a career in the industry at FMC Kongsberg Subsea, where managerial and supervisory roles included a focus on completion, tie-in, and system integration testing.
