Lasse Virtanen is a Project Manager at Vantaan Energia Oy since December 2012, currently managing the High-Temperature Incineration Plant project with a fuel consumption of approximately 45,000 tons per year and a commissioning date set for 2025. Previously, Lasse served as a Mechanical Engineer on the Waste-to-Energy power plant project from December 2012 to April 2014, overseeing project engineering tasks such as installation supervision and quality control. Prior to Vantaan Energia, Lasse worked as a Mechanic at Ruukki from May 2009 to September 2011, focusing on pickling, annealing, and cold rolling mills. Lasse holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia, earned between 2007 and 2012.
