Riva Madan is a software engineer with extensive experience in frontend development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta since November 2023. Previously, Riva worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Proper from May to November 2023 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Impira from January 2021 to December 2022, where Riva focused on building user interfaces, developing UI component libraries, and enhancing user onboarding experiences. Before that, Riva held multiple roles at IBM Aspera from April 2016 to January 2021, progressing from Software Engineer to Associate Frontend Engineering Manager, where Riva managed a team and facilitated the development of new products using React and the IBM Carbon Design System. Riva's early career includes research positions at UC Berkeley involving species identification and data analysis. Riva earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015.
