Kayce Eckel has over 12 years of work experience in talent acquisition, teaching, and program coordination. In 2009, they began their career as a 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher and Development Coordinator/Assistant to the Executive Director for Teach For America. In 2008, they were a Program Coordinator Intern for Junior Achievement of Washington. In 2014, they were a 6th Grade Literacy Teacher for KIPP DC. In 2016, they were a Staffing Coordinator - Talent Acquisitions for Washoe County School District. In 2017, they were a Recruiting Projects Specialist, Gigafactory 1 for Tesla. In 2019, they were a High School English Teacher for Mater Dei Catholic High School of San Diego. In 2021, they were a Talent Acquisition Operations Manager for Seesaw Learning. In 2022, they were a Recruiter for Black Butte Ranch. Currently, they are a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Vanguard Clinical, Inc.

Kayce Eckel obtained a B.A. in Communications from Washington State University in 2009, with a field of study in Broadcast News and Sports Management. Kayce then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University in 2014. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Recruiting Veterans from LinkedIn.
