Gregory Shumway is an experienced educator currently serving as a Certificated Substitute Teacher for Vancouver Public Schools and Evergreen Public Schools since December 2018, while also working as a Special Education Paraprofessional since November 2016. Gregory has demonstrated a strong ability to assist students with diverse needs by implementing various teaching strategies and fostering effective communication within academic environments. Prior experiences include roles in client account coordination at Fisher Investments and as a lexicography intern at PhraseWorthy, LLC, where Gregory contributed to the development of language processing tools. With a Master of Arts in Teaching English from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Brigham Young University, Gregory has built a robust foundation in education and linguistics, complemented by diverse operational and teamwork experiences in previous positions.
