Wim Baars is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as Productieleider at Van Straten Medical since January 2025. Prior roles include Projectmanager and Productiemanager at AMT Medical from August 2022 to January 2025, and Docent and BPV coördinator at Leidse instrumentmakers School from August 2014 to August 2022. Previous experience also includes working as a productspecialist at Olympus from January 2006 to July 2014, where training and support for medical equipment were provided to physicians and operating room staff, and as an instrumentmaker at instrumek from June 1998 to December 2005, where medical prototypes were manufactured using CNC-controlled machines. Wim Baars holds a degree from the Leidse instrumentmakers opleiding in Instrumentmaker, following completion of mavo education.
