David Duffus is an experienced QA/QC Senior Welding Inspector with a robust background in overseeing welding inspections and quality control across various significant projects. Currently employed at Van Oord since July 2019, David is involved in the world's first offshore wind farm project, focusing on the fabrication of Mono Buckets. Prior to this role, David worked at Heerema from March 2015, managing inspection activities for major offshore projects, and has held QA/QC positions at Technip, Serimax, RCR Tomlinson, Laing O’Rourke, Exxon Mobil, and Kentz, accumulating extensive experience in welding qualifications and inspections in diverse international environments. David's comprehensive skill set includes expertise in non-destructive testing, process supervision, and compliance with project specifications and international standards.
