Jay Derr is the Managing Partner of the Seattle Office at Van Ness Feldman, LLP, a position held since February 2012 following the merger of GordonDerr, LLP and Van Ness Feldman, LLP. Prior to this role, Jay served as the Managing Partner at GordonDerr LLP from April 2006 to February 2012 and as an Attorney/Partner at Buck & Gordon from September 1982 to July 2008, the predecessor firm to GordonDerr, LLP. Jay holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, obtained between 1979 and 1982, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Michigan State University, earned from 1975 to 1979.
