Charles R. Dix has extensive experience in the lighting industry, currently serving as Lighting Supervisor at Van Meter Inc. since June 2021, overseeing lighting quotations and design teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin and collaborating with local lighting agents. Prior to this role, Charles held several positions at Werner Electric, including Lighting Segment Manager and Lighting Product Manager, where responsibilities involved leading lighting teams and developing strategies for sales growth. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Lighting Specialist at WESCO Distribution, providing technical support and conducting energy audits, along with roles in sales and inside sales. Charles began their career with the US Army as a Military Police officer and has also worked in administrative support for the US Peace Corps and in purchasing for the US Embassy in Moscow. Charles R. Dix holds a BA in Political Science with a focus on Russian from the University of Northern Iowa.
