Sam Lantinga is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Valve Corporation since August 2012, Sam previously held the same title at 38 Studios from May 2011 to May 2012. Additionally, Sam founded and served as CEO of Galaxy Gameworks for a brief period in early 2011. Prior experience includes a decade at Blizzard Entertainment as a Lead Software Engineer and a role as Lead Programmer at Loki Software, Inc. before that. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, obtained in 1997.
