Anish Chandak is a Senior Software Engineer at Valve Corporation since January 2017, previously serving as CEO of Impulsonic, Inc. from October 2011 to December 2016. Impulsonic focused on real-time sound synthesis and rendering technologies developed by a team from the GAMMA lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Anish conducted research from August 2006 to September 2011 as a Research Assistant. Anish also completed two summer internships at Microsoft Research in 2008 and 2009, working on audio technologies and geometric sound propagation algorithms. Anish holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
