Mary Heiland has extensive experience in leadership and community service, currently serving as the Director of Sunnyslope Adopt-A-Family Christmas Charity since January 2013, overseeing the delivery of Christmas assistance to over 50 low-income families with the help of more than 200 volunteers. As Co-Founder and Human Resources Vice President at Valutek since October 1988, Mary has focused on team building, culture advocacy, and philanthropy organizing. From April 2004 to 2016, Mary held several roles including Philanthropy Liaison for the National Charity League of Moon Valley, Inc., promoting volunteerism and supporting various local philanthropies. Early in their career, Mary worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at California Children's Services and as an Occupational Therapist at St. Jude Hospital and Rehab Center, specializing in rehabilitative care. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and an Associate of Science from California State University, Long Beach.
