Jere Viitasalo is a finance specialist with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently employed at Valtiokonttori (State Treasury of Finland) since January 2017. Prior to this role, Jere served as a payment system expert at the Bank of Finland from May 2015 to December 2016. Jere's early career includes multiple positions as a service advisor at Nordea, beginning in May 2012, and a role as a metal worker at ABB in 2011. Additionally, Jere served as a peacekeeper in the Finnish Defence Forces from July 2009 to July 2010. Jere holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Vaasa, obtained between 2010 and 2016, and completed secondary education at Kauniaisten lukio from 2005 to 2008.
