Christopher Smith has a robust background in campus recreation and well-being, currently serving as the Director of Campus Recreation and Well-Being at Valparaiso University since April 2020, after previously holding the position of Assistant Director. Prior to this role, Christopher was the Intramural Sports and Outdoor Recreation Manager at Northern Michigan University from August 2015 to April 2020, where responsibilities included supervising staff, developing intramural leagues, and managing outdoor recreation programming. Christopher also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Valparaiso University and gained experience as a Graduate Assistant in Recreational Sports. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sports Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Health, both from Valparaiso University.
