Daniel Habermehl

Head Of Data Ecosystem & Analytics at Valora Group

Daniel Habermehl has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daniel started their career in 2004 as a Scientist and PhD Student at dkfz - German Cancer Research Center, where they worked until 2008. Daniel then joined The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant and later became a Project Leader. In 2013, Daniel joined Valora Group as the Head of Business Development Retail and held this position until 2015. Daniel then took on the role of Customer Engagement Manager until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, Daniel served as the Head of Customer Analytics. Currently, they are the Head of Process Improvement - Digital Product Development at Valora Group.

Daniel Habermehl received their undergraduate education at the University of Hohenheim, where they obtained a degree in Nutritional Sciences, specifically as a Diplom-Ernährungswissenschaftler. Daniel also participated in the Erasmus Program at the University of Reading, focusing on Nutritional Sciences and Marketing. Following this, they pursued further education at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ), where they earned a doctorate in Molekularbiologie, specifically completing a Dr. rer. nat. degree. Daniel also completed a Diploma Thesis in Molecular Biology at the University of Bern.
