George Mejias, AAIA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in real estate, property, and capital project management. Currently serving as the Director of Real Estate, Property & Capital Project Management at Valley Health System since June 2017, George also holds the position of Principal & Managing Director at the GeoKamGroup, inc. since January 2016. Prior to these roles, George was the Executive Director of Capital Management at The University of Iowa Health Care from May 2012 to January 2016 and the Executive Director of Design & Construction at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from June 1997 to January 2012. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Facilities Planning at Montefiore Health System and in various project management roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., NYU Langone Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Health System. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture, both from The City College of New York.
