Emily Schneider is the Manager of Regulatory Compliance at Valley Electric Association, Inc., where responsibilities include developing and implementing NERC/WECC compliance, managing new standards, and ensuring compliance for new assets. Previously, Emily served as the Interim Manager of Regulatory Compliance, overseeing the program during a critical audit year, and as Staff Counsel, providing legal support and drafting contracts. Early career experiences include a Legal Clerk role assisting with compliance and legal research, a Legal Intern position focusing on tax liability and EEO complaints, and guest service experience at Target. Emily holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Texas A&M University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Wisconsin Lutheran College.
