Adrian Rafferty is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director & Head of Legal Service for the UK and Ireland at Valero Energy Corporation since April 2015. Prior experience includes founding a consultancy firm focused on governance and commercial affairs for international businesses, including The Nielsen Company, and serving as Counsel at Regional Law. Previously, Adrian held roles as Associate Regional Counsel for Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, and Africa at The Nielsen Company and provided legal support at Tesco in Competition and Corporate Groups. Early career experience includes work at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in Banking and Finance, and participation in Tesco's Business Placement Year Programme. Adrian holds a Master of Arts from the University of Oxford, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and a BA (HONS) from the University of Oxford.
