Md Meraz is a Lead Engineer at Valeo since February 2023, specializing in 2D/3D CNN-based 3D object classification and segmentation for L3 self-driving cars, alongside managing datasets and code on Google Cloud Platform using the Vertex AI toolkit. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Lead at HCL Technologies from February 2022 to February 2023, where work focused on AI benchmark model performance evaluations for various hardware and implementing scratch dent detection in automobile manufacturing using Mask-RCNN techniques. Md Meraz also completed a Ph.D. in Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad from January 2018 to December 2021, along with a Master's degree in Robotics at the same institution from July 2016 to December 2017, serving as a Teaching Assistant during the master's program.
