Shane Lacelle, C.E.T, PMP, is an experienced professional in the mining industry with a focus on ventilation and mine planning. Currently serving as Business Superintendent at Vale since November 2018, Shane has held various roles including MTS Midrange Planning Superintendent and Divisional Supervisor. Prior experience includes positions at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited as a Mine Technologist, Lake Shore Gold Corp as a Mine Technologist and Ventilation Technician, and Xstrata Copper as a Senior Ventilation Planner. Shane’s expertise encompasses mine design, ventilation planning, gas monitoring, and the development of ventilation modeling software. Shane holds a Mining Technologist degree from Cambrian College and a Bachelor of Business Management from Athabasca University.
