Randal Evans is a highly experienced hydrogeologist with a Master's Degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Geology from Acadia University. Currently, Randal serves as a Specialist Hydrogeologist at Vale since September 2023. Previous roles include positions at SLR Consulting and Golder, focusing on hydrogeological programs for mining and government clients in northern Ontario. Randal has extensive fieldwork experience, including drilling, groundwater monitoring, and aquifer testing. Earlier roles include exploration geology at Kirkland Lake Gold, hydrological research assistance at Yukon College, and hydrogeological internships with Shell and WorleyParsons. Additional contributions include teamwork on a report concerning hydraulic fracturing's subsurface impacts and teaching experience at the University of Calgary, where Randal received the Jim & Josie Gray Teaching Award for outstanding performance.
