Patti Pegues P. Eng is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience within Vale, where current responsibilities include serving as the Director of Technical Services since May 2023. Over nearly two decades at Vale, Patti has held various leadership roles, including Manager of Internal Business Development, Senior Manager of North Atlantic Mine Planning, and Chief Mine Engineer for both Creighton and Long Range Mine Design projects. Previous experience includes positions at Xstrata and Elk Valley Coal as a Mine Engineer Student. Patti holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mine Engineering from Queen's University, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
